Welcome to TruNav web browsing! TruNav is a full featured web browser with Favorites, Home Page, Internet Options, and much more!

The most commonly used web browsing features have hot keys at the top of the browser. Back, Forward, Home, etc. Your keyboard shortcuts also work with TruNav, if you previously used F5 for refresh, that still works for you!

For more advanced internet browsing features check the pop out menu on the left side bar of TruNav, it contains many lesser used web browsing features such as Internet Options as well as a link to check for TruNav updates.

The TruNav home page will also notify you if important updates have been released for TruNav.

    Contains page title information (this information is provided in the page content by websites).

    Controls for the Main Program window includes minimize, max/restore, and exit.

  3. Navigation Buttons

    Standard navigation buttons for web browsing and accessing common internet features. Standard browsing features include Forward, Back, Refresh, Cancel, Home, Favorites, E-mail, and Print.

  4. Google Search

    Google Search bar included for convenience, type in your request and hit the Magnifying glass button to search Google.

  5. Advanced Options

    Advanced browser and internet options. Click Here to Preview Browser Menu.
    Menu options include:

    • Page Setup
    • Add to Favorites

  6. Status Information

    Page load information, link information, any other window status information is displayed here.

  7. Encryption Status

    Shows a closed lock if the page is encrypted (SSL - such as banking and financial websites), otherwise lock is open (unencrypted).

  8. Zone Information

    Zone connection status of current page, zones can be Local (the file is on your computer), Intranet (the file is on your local network), Internet (the file is loaded from a remote site). Zone detail is shown next to the icon for clarity.
